Terms of Service - ISTQB Prep

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ISTQB Prep ("the Service"), operated by ISTQB Prep ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ISTQB Prep is an online learning platform that provides practice questions, mock exams, lessons, and AI-powered tutoring to help users prepare for ISTQB Foundation Level certification. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Purchases and Payment

Paid features are available through one-time purchases processed via Stripe. Individual access costs $49 and provides 60 days of full access. Team packs cost $199 for 5 seats with 60 days of access. All prices are in USD. Payment is collected at the time of purchase.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) share your account with others (team packs have separate seats); (b) scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service; (c) attempt to reverse engineer the Service; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including questions, explanations, lesson materials, and software, is owned by ISTQB Prep or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission. ISTQB is a registered trademark of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

8. AI Tutor

The AI Tutor feature provides automated study assistance. Responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. The AI Tutor is a supplementary learning tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information. Usage is subject to daily rate limits.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in passing the ISTQB exam. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISTQB Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
